Thank you for solving a family tree search.Private Stephen Balshaw,was my uncle,who is remembered on your page of the Fallen of World War 1.He was born in Brooklyn,New York,returning home,with his parents and siblings about 1900.His parents Charles and Mary Elizabeth Balshaw having lived in the Mill Hill area,before emigration in the 1880,s.God bless you for his eternal memory.

When I was serving my title at St Peter’s Blackburn – 1953-1955 – I had no idea that St Georges even existed. It has taken over 50 years to discover that fact. Clifford Smart
